    What are Indiana's Food Safety Regulations?

    The State of Indiana food establishments to have one person to have a “food handler certification” that is responsible during all operating hours even if not present per the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) 410IAC 7-22.

    In Indiana, a "food handler certification" has the same requirements as a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) and must successfully complete an ANAB-CFP accredited program from an ANAB approved provider such as FMC® Food Managers Certification by EduClasses®.

    Always be sure to check with your local health department for any additional training and certification requirements.
