    What are Arkansas' Food Safety Regulations?

    Arkansas requires retail food establishments to have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM).

    Per the Arkansas Department of Health (DOH), establishments with low risk of foodborne illness such as establishments that only provide commercially prepackaged foods or those that only provide non-time/temperature control foods are exempt from requiring a CFPM.

    To become a certified food protection manager, individuals must pass a food protection manager certification exam from an ANAB approved provider such as FMC® Food Managers Certification by EduClasses®.
